Volleyball Recap: Eustace Beats Winona for Their Eighth Straight Win

Eustace came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Winona Wildcats 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Eustace took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-10, 25-6.

Bodie Hudson paced Eustace's offense, picking up ten kills. Hudson got some help from Landry Huggins and her 16 assists. Huggins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Eustace's win bumped their record up to 28-3. As for Winona, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Eustace is set to take on their familiar foe Malakoff at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Winona will face off against rival Grand Saline at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
