Plainfield North kept a clean sheet against Aurora East on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Tomcats. The win was all the more spectacular given Plainfield North's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 216th, while Aurora East are ranked 64th).

Plainfield North's victory bumped their record up to 3-5-1. As for Aurora East, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1-4.
