Volleyball Recap: Hancock County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Independent Athletic Ministries on Tuesday, Hancock County came back down to earth. The Indians came up short against the Washburn Pirates on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

While Hancock County was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-23, 25-14.

Hancock County's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7. As for Washburn, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-7.

Coming up, Hancock County will challenge Grainger at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Washburn, they will host Cherokee at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
