Western Branch won the last time they faced Nansemond River and things went their way on Thursday too. The Western Branch Bruins walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Nansemond River Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bruins.
Wilson Tone made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Tone was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while going 3-for-3.
In other pitching news, Ian Taylor looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.
