Volleyball Recap: Oblong Victorious

It was a proper cat-fight when Oblong challenged Woodlawn on Saturday. The Panthers came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 2-0. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

Ella Jenkins paced Oblong's offense, picking up five kills. Jenkins got some help from Brylee Murray and her eight assists.

Oblong's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Woodlawn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Oblong didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Mt. Carmel on the 30th. Woodlawn has also already played their next match (against Mt. Vernon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
