Ava Hazelton gave up the fewest walks she has since back in March on Saturday. She was unstoppable, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

Coming up, Hazelton and Mid Valley will welcome Honesdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Hazelton's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Spartans' ten-game streak of wins on the road.
