On Friday Mattew Perez didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched, which was good enough to set a new career-high in strikeouts. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than one earned run. This season, he has an ERA of 1.79 over 27.3 innings pitched.

Coming up, Perez and Refugio will head out on the road to challenge Pettus at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bobcats are a perfect 10-0 against the Eagles going back to April of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
