Softball Recap: Ider Snags Eighth Win in Last Nine Games

The Ider Hornets earned a 6-1 win over the Waterloo Cougars on Tuesday.

Ider is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 37-15-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Waterloo, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 26-15.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ider beat the Cougars by a score of 6-1 on Wednesday.
