Softball Recap: Tidehaven Takes a Loss

Tidehaven was the 4-3 winner over Hallettsville when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Tidehaven fell just short of Hallettsville by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addison Duckett was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.

Tidehaven's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Hallettsville, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Tidehaven is set to take on their familiar foe Edna at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Hallettsville will face off against rival Rice Consolidated at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
