Baseball Recap: Chavez Takes a Loss

Chavez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 15-1 to the Bear Creek Bruins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 29-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Chavez saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joesph Baltazar, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. That's the most hits Baltazar has posted since back in February.

Chavez's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Bear Creek, their record is now 6-9.

While Chavez had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
