Christ Prep Academy and Sunrise Christian Academy played the most hotly contested game in Midwest Christian this week, with Christ Prep Academy eventually emerging with a 33-32 victory.
The Patriots made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,025 from 13,592. The advance stemmed from a 33-32 victory over the Buffaloes last week.
Sunrise Christian Academy's Zach HOWELL and Jake BERDAN have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. HOWELL has thrown for 2715 yards this season, while BERDAN, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 57 catches for 777 yards. Josiah Thill from Christ Prep Academy leads the league in rushing with 325 yards.
Jim Cook's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 33 points on Trey Hall's team.
