Basketball Recap: Plevna Comes Up Short

Plevna was the 59-54 winner over Carter County when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Plevna Cougars fell 53-42 to the Carter County Bulldogs on Friday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Plevna's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Carter County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Plevna has already played their next match (against Wibaux), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Carter County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bison at 6:30 p.m. on January 28th.
