Baseball Recap: Tippecanoe Valley Comes Up Short

Tippecanoe Valley saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came up short against the Angola Hornets, falling 13-3. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tippecanoe Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Adamson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Ian Cooksey was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Tippecanoe Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Angola, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-14 record this season.

Tippecanoe Valley and Angola are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Vikings will host West Noble at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Angola, they will take on Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
