            Softball Recap: Capitan Tigers vs. Rehoboth Christian Lynx        
        
		
        
        
            With a playoff win on the line, Capitan rose to the challenge  on Thursday. They came out on top against the Rehoboth Christian Lynx by a score of  5-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2015.
 Faith Roper tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in seven consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Capitan's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Reyanne Harris, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and two  RBI. Another  was  Cambree West, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
Capitan is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record  this season. As for Rehoboth Christian,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 18-11.
 Capitan has already played their next game,  a  7-0  loss against Loving on the 15th. Rehoboth Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
