Softball Recap: Loogootee Takes a Loss

Loogootee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Evansville Reitz Panthers, falling 10-2.

Breanna Courter made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Loogootee's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Evansville Reitz, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-10.

Loogootee has already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against Evansville North on the 10th. As for Evansville Reitz, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 victory against Evansville Central on the 12th.
