Torres extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Gianna Gonzalez. The Toros blew past the Central Grizzlies 3-0 on Monday thanks in part to Gonzalez, who had 16 digs and four assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

While Torres won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 26-24.

Torres' win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Torres has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Madera South on the 23rd. Central has also already played their next contest (against Fresno), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
