Baseball Recap: American Heritage Gets the Win

American Heritage gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They skirted past the West Boca Raton Bulls 6-4. For the Stallions, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 victory the Bulls walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Evan Fernandez was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other pitching news, Noah Garfinkel looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

Back at the plate, Lucas Shahrabani was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. Alex Zhao was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.

American Heritage's record now sits at 6-3. As for West Boca Raton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, American Heritage will take on Coral Springs Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Boca Raton, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Pine Crest at 7:00 p.m.
