Volleyball Recap: Boulder Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Boulder's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Greeley Central Wildcats by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in February, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Boulder had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-18, 25-20, 25-22.

Tshinciao Spaeth Marulanda was a one-man wrecking crew as he had 25 digs and two aces. Those 25 digs gave him a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Greeley Central lost, don't look at Tawke Blu Soe. Despite the final result, he had eight digs.

Boulder's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7. As for Greeley Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Boulder wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Cherry Creek on the 19th. Hopefully Greeley Central paid attention to the Panthers' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Panthers at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
