While River View's victory against Morgan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Black Bears had just enough and edged out the Raiders 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Black Bears have posted since April 22, 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for River View and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Morgan, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River View will challenge Barnesville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Shamrocks will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Black Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for Morgan, they will face off against Waterford at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
