Volleyball Recap: Holy Cross Takes a Loss

The Holy Cross Indians came up short against the Middletown Middies on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Holy Cross ultimately came up short, they really made Middletown work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 29-27.

Holy Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Middletown, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Holy Cross has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Edgewood on the 12th. As for Middletown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lakota West on the 12th.
