Basketball Game Preview: Hills Academy Knights vs. Covington Academy Bulldogs

Hills Academy is 6-1 against Covington Academy since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Hills Academy Knights will host the Covington Academy Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Hills Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.

Last Thursday, Hills Academy strolled past Young Americans Christian with points to spare, taking the game 76-57. The Knights pushed the score to 57-33 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Hills Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adrian Campbell, who posted 21 points. Campbell's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tynor Parker, who scored 19 points.

Meanwhile, Covington Academy lost to Milledgeville Athletic Club on the road by a 69-54 margin on Thursday. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bears 18-10 in the first quarter.

Hills Academy has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Covington Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-5.

Hills Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Covington Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 70-65 victory.
