Volleyball Recap: North Shore Takes a Loss

North Shore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Kingwood. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Kingwood this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-12, 25-20.

Bria Taylor paced North Shore's offense, picking up eight kills. Taylor got some help from Michele Oviedo and her 12 assists.

North Shore's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Kingwood, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-23.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. North Shore is set to take on their familiar foe Goose Creek Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kingwood will square off against rival Channelview at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
