Fairfield Central played against the Red Foxes and lost via forfeit.
You can't lose the contest if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Keenan's strategy against the Capitals last Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Keenan blew the Capitals out of the water with a 76-20 final score. With Keenan ahead 40-11 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Keenan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Taelor Lee-sutton led the charge by dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. Lee-sutton hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Aareonna Cuaghman was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds.
Fairfield Central now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Keenan, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-8.
Fairfield Central took a serious blow against the Raiders in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 85-33. Can Fairfield Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
