Basketball Recap: American Heritage Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

American Heritage had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Providence Hall Patriots 86-60. American Heritage has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 26 points or more this season.

Providence Hall's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mckai Turner, who went 6 for 13 en route to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dallas Loutensock, who posted 14 points.

American Heritage is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 84.6 points per game. As for Providence Hall, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

American Heritage will be playing at home against Summit Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. American Heritage knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Summit Academy likes a good challenge. As for Providence Hall, they will head out on the road to challenge Judge Memorial Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
