Baseball Recap: Union Preparatory Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grace Academy, Union Preparatory was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots 9-7.

Union Preparatory now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Piedmont Community Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Union Preparatory will challenge Lake Norman Christian at 3:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sugar Creek Charter at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th. The Patriots are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
