Softball Recap: Central Panthers vs. Corvallis Spartans

Central won the last time they faced Corvallis and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 17-13.

Central got a massive performance out of Emery Lushenko, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Lushenko a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Beasly, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 7-3 when they post 11 or more hits.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Corvallis, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-17.
