Volleyball Recap: Centerville Comes Up Short

Centerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Fort Benton Longhorns. The Miners were not able to make up for their defeat to the Longhorns from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Centerville was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-23.

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Centerville will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hays-Lodge Pole at 3:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Fort Benton, they will venture away from home to face off against Conrad at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
