Estacado is a perfect 4-0 against Liberty since January of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Estacado Matadors will head out to take on the Liberty Patriots at 5:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Estacado is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Lake View just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Chiefs/Maidens by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Matadors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 692nd, while the Chiefs/Maidens are ranked 215th).

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Liberty's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pecos on Tuesday.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 6-12-1. As for Estacado, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-4.

Estacado beat Liberty by a goal in their previous matchup back in February, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Estacado since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
