Preview: Arkport Central/Canaseraga Wolves vs. Avoca-Prattsburgh Titans
Arkport Central/Canaseraga is 0-6 against Avoca-Prattsburgh since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Arkport Central/Canaseraga Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Avoca-Prattsburgh Titans at 7:15 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Arkport Central/Canaseraga took care of business in their home opener on December 4th (and then some). They breezed by Jasper-Troupsburg at home to the tune of 69-39.
Meanwhile, even though Gananda Central scored an imposing 67 points on Monday, Avoca-Prattsburgh still came out on top. Avoca-Prattsburgh took their contest against Gananda Central 74-67. 74 seems to be a good number for Avoca-Prattsburgh as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Arkport Central/Canaseraga pushed their record up to 1-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 22.67 points. As for Avoca-Prattsburgh, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
Arkport Central/Canaseraga took a serious blow against Avoca-Prattsburgh in their previous matchup back in January, falling 97-44. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Arkport Central/Canaseraga was down 55-28.
