Currituck County barely beat Martin County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gators on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Currituck County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maddie Schuster, who had six digs and five aces. Schuster is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served four or more in each of the last three games she's played.
Schuster wasn't the only good servers: Currituck County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 13 aces in five consecutive contests.
The win got Currituck County back to even at 11-11. As for Martin County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.
