            Softball Recap: Southern Choctaw Indians vs. Clarke County Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            The home team had come away the winner the last four times Southern Choctaw and Clarke County had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Southern Choctaw Indians put the hurt on the Clarke County Bulldogs with a sharp  19-10 win on Tuesday. The  victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.
 Gabby Land spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned  (and six unearned) runs on five hits.

 At the plate, Southern Choctaw got a  massive  performance out of  Emerald Dunigan, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple. The dominant performance gave  Dunigan a new career-high in  hits. Another player making a difference was  Remmi McMichael, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-5.
 Southern Choctaw  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  struck out at most three  strikeouts in three consecutive  games.
The  win  got Southern Choctaw back to even at 4-4-1. As for Clarke County, their defeat was  their fifth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 0-7.
 Southern Choctaw has already played their next contest,  a  30-8  victory against Millry on the 13th. As for Clarke County, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  match,  an  18-1  loss against Washington County on the 13th.
