Basketball Recap: Kory Anschutz and Ashley Spease Secure Win for Skyline

Skyline hadn't done well against Pretty Prairie recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Skyline Thunderbirds snuck past the Pretty Prairie Bulldogs with a 49-44 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Thunderbirds as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Leading Skyline to victory were Ashley Spease and Kory Anschutz. Spease posted eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Anschutz had five points and four steals. Anschutz is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Pretty Prairie, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

As of now, neither Skyline nor Pretty Prairie have any future games scheduled.
