Softball Preview: Cedar Bluff Tigers vs. Piedmont Bulldogs
The Cedar Bluff Tigers will head out to face off against the Piedmont Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Piedmont took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Cedar Bluff, who comes in off a win.
Cedar Bluff is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Gaston with a sharp 20-9 victory on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Mackenzie Kimmons looked comfortable as she tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in May of 2024.
