Baseball Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Perry lost against Chandler back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pumas took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. The Pumas' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Perry got a big performance out of Andrew Hover, who went 3-for-5 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Luke Calendo, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Perry's record now sits at 16-9. As for Chandler, they moved to 12-13-1 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

While Perry had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
