Baseball Recap: Colonial Forge Takes a Loss

Colonial Forge lost against Riverbend two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 8-2 to the Bears. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colonial Forge's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Riverbend, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.

Colonial Forge and Riverbend should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 94th) will meet Hylton (ranked 237th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Riverbend will square off against Stafford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (39 vs. 215).
