Bonneville and Box Elder are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Lakers will challenge the Bees at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bonneville will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Bonneville barely beat East the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lakers blew past the Leopards 17-3 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Lakers in their matchups with the Leopards: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Box Elder came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Wildcats as they made off with a 19-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bees, who have now won 19 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Lucy Braegger looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jenna Marble was incredible, going 2-for-3 with six RBI, two runs, and one double. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Hales, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Box Elder kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive games.

Box Elder's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.9 runs over those games. As for Bonneville, their record now sits at 9-16.

Bonneville suffered a grim 12-1 defeat to Box Elder when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Lakers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
