Baseball Recap: Pace Comes Up Short

Pace lost against Mercedes back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Vikings' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Pace saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Juan Hernandez, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Pace's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Mercedes, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-16.

While Pace had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
