Basketball Game Preview: Belmont Charter Tigers vs. Masterman

The Belmont Charter Tigers will challenge Masterman at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Belmont Charter has four straight wins, Masterman has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Thursday, Belmont Charter beat First Philadelphia Prep 64-53.

Belmont Charter got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Amir Dominick out in front who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taron Regan, who had 14 points.

Meanwhile, Masterman played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Franklin Towne, falling 59-33.

Belmont Charter's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Masterman, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Belmont Charter beat Masterman 48-35 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Masterman's Charlie Adams, who earned 20 points and five steals.
