Classical lost to Flinthills  back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Classical Saints greeted the New Year with  with  a  73-59 win over the Flinthills Mustangs. With that  victory, the Saints brought their scoring average up to 52.9  points per game.
Classical got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Nevi Wilkey out in front who  went 6 of 12  en route to 18  points and four  steals. Wilkey has been hot recently, having  posted four or more  steals the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Addison Yost, who  went 6 of 11  on her way to 17 points and three  steals.
 Classical  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 11  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive boards in four consecutive  matches.
Classical pushed their record up to 7-1 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Flinthills,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Classical will take on Marion at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Classical is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.9  points per game  this season. As for Flinthills, they will look to defend their home court  on Monday against Bluestem. Bluestem's defense has only allowed 23.1  points per game  this season, so Flinthills' offense will have their work cut out for them.
