Basketball Game Preview: Bowman Academy Eagles vs. Griffith Panthers

The Bowman Academy Eagles will take on the Griffith Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bowman Academy has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 13.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Eagles on Saturday. Bowman Academy took a blow against South Bend Adams, falling 62-32. While losing is never fun, Bowman Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while South Bend Adams is ranked 104th).

Meanwhile, Griffith was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Highland 66-35. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won five in a row.

Bowman Academy better keep an eye on Gianni Feaster. He was instrumental in Griffith's win, putting up 11 points in addition to six assists and three steals. The dominant performance gave Feaster a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Jaylan Rockett, who posted ten points.

Griffith's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Bowman Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.
