HILMAR, Calif. -
Central Catholic (Modesto, Calif.) snapped the 13-game winning streak of
Hilmar (Calif.), with a 24-10 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Hunter Petlansky to
Jared Rice in the first quarter, the Raiders were up 24-3 at the half.
With the win Central Catholic extended its winning streak to 12 games. Central Catholic defeated Ripon 38-7 last week.
Hilmar's lone touchdown came on a 10-yard run by
Jonathan O'Brien in the fourth quarter.
CC had given up an average of 15.8 points prior to the contest. The 10 points that the Yellowjackets ended with were well below their average of 32.3 coming into the game.
The loss comes after Hilmar defeated Center 19-15 last week.
