Baseball Recap: Kolbe-Cathedral's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

After flying high against Terryville on Thursday, Kolbe-Cathedral came back down to earth. The Cougars took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bunnell Bulldogs on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost nine in a row.

Kolbe-Cathedral saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miguel Colon, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Colon is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Another was Joey Mingolello, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Kolbe-Cathedral fell to 5-1. As for Bunnell, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
