Volleyball Recap: Mira Loma Takes a Loss

Mira Loma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Lincoln Fighting Zebras.

The final score came out to 25-20, 21-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Jordan Pehur paced Mira Loma's offense, picking up 14 kills. Pehur got some help from Srimadhav Malavathu and his 19 assists.

Mira Loma's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lincoln, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mira Loma will take on rival Marysville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lincoln is set to challenge their familiar foe Oakmont at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
