Volleyball Recap: Powell County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Perry County Central on Tuesday, Powell County came back down to earth. The Pirates came up short against the Pikeville Panthers on Friday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

Powell County's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Pikeville, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Powell County has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Letcher County Central on the 3rd. Pikeville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
