The Franklin Indians are taking a road trip to take on the Hereford Bulls at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Franklin's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Patapsco as they made off with a 10-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Mia Cleveland, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Lailah Khan also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, Hereford got the win against Kenwood on Thursday by a conclusive 10-2. The win continues a trend for the Bulls in their matchups with the Bluebirds: they've now won five in a row.
Hayley Dyer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 18 Ks. Those 18 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, Lauren Clement was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Morgan Hall was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
Hereford lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Franklin's record is now 6-7. As for Hereford, their record now sits at 13-2.
Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Franklin has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .465. However, it's not like Hereford struggles in that department as they've averaged .484. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Franklin couldn't quite finish off Hereford in their previous matchup back in April and fell 6-4. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
