Volleyball Recap: Makayla Meyer's Big Game Can't Quite Lead New Holstein over Chilton + How To Watch

New Holstein was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Chilton Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss on October 2nd.

New Holstein was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 25-19.

New Holstein's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makayla Meyer, who had 12 assists and seven digs.

New Holstein's loss dropped their record down to 5-23. As for Chilton, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

New Holstein does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chilton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Brillion on the 23rd.
