Butler is 9-1 against Rowe-Clark since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Butler Lynx will host the Rowe-Clark Masai Lions at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Butler has four straight wins, Rowe-Clark has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Last Tuesday, Butler took their match with ease, bagging a 68-34 victory over Bulls College Prep. The Lynx have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 24 points or more this season.

Butler's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Julius Hamlin Jr, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 19 points along with eight steals and five assists. Hamlin Jr's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamal Small, who went 7 for 12 en route to 17 points in addition to eight steals and six boards.
Butler smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 16 offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Rowe-Clark was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 54-48 to Hansberry.
Butler will need focus on slowing down Marcus Fossett, one of several Rowe-Clark players who made an impact when they last played. He went 7 of 17 on his way to 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Fossett has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasean Knox, who posted 14 points.
Butler's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.5 points. As for Rowe-Clark, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Butler has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 51.4 boards per game. However, it's not like Rowe-Clark struggles in that department as they've been averaging 35.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything went Butler's way against Rowe-Clark when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Butler made off with a 56-30 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Knox, who went 8 of 9 on his way to 20 points and seven rebounds. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Butler still be able to contain Knox? There's only one way to find out.
