Rockford East is 8-2 against Harlem since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Rockford East E-Rabs will head out to take on the Harlem Huskies at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Rockford East was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to Lincoln. While losing is never fun, the E-Rabs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while the Railsplitters are ranked 95th).

Meanwhile, Harlem had to suffer through a 67-39 loss at the hands of Waubonsie Valley. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rockford East will have to contain Julius Roundtree as he made an impact in Harlem's last game. He posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Mateo Perera, who earned 11 points.

Harlem's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Rockford East, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Rockford East strolled past Harlem when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 77-60. Will Rockford East repeat their success, or does Harlem have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
