Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Vipers are ranked 158th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Vista Ridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hutto. While the Rangers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hippos 14-8 in the first quarter.

Round Rock Westwood pushed their record up to 24-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.1 points per game. As for Vista Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.
