Basketball Recap: Viborg/Hurley Comes Up Short

If Viborg/Hurley was riding high fresh off their 55-33 takedown of Hanson last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Viborg/Hurley Cougars took a 73-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dakota Valley Panthers on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (55), the Cougars still had to take the loss.

Viborg/Hurley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Dakota Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Viborg/Hurley will square off against Alcester-Hudson at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dakota Valley, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Spirit Lake at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
